Architrave Blocks and Plinth Blocks are a unique way to add depth and definition to doorways. Plinth blocks provide a smooth transition from architrave to skirting especially when geometrically opposing profiles are used. Architrave blocks are a great alternative to mitred corners and have the added bonus of hiding movement cracks that may appear in the mitres over time by providing a shadow line on the joints.
